Pair of Dice Has Landed on Frimley Road – And It’s Proper Tasty, Mate

Selamat Petan Lads

There’s a new spot on Frimley Road that’s quietly smashing it — Pair of Dice, right opposite Atif Superstore. It’s run by a super friendly Malaysian couple who actually smile at you when you walk in (rare, we know), and they’re serving up absolute bangers.

Pair of dice

Let’s start with the drinks. They’ve got ice milk teas that are dangerously addictive and a taro milk tea that’s purple, yes, but actually tastes legit — none of that fake sweet nonsense. You’ll say “just one” and then be back two days later like it’s a guilty pleasure.

Now the food — this is where it gets serious. The Roti John is a beast. Imagine an omelette-meets-meaty baguette situation, loaded with sauce, grilled to perfection. £7 and you’re absolutely sorted. None of that limp sandwich life.

They’ve also got proper Malaysian classics like Nasi Lemak (coconut rice, spicy sambal, crispy anchovies — trust the process) and Beef Rendang that’s rich, spicy, and basically what slow-cooked dreams are made of.

It’s not trying to be fancy, it’s just banging food made by people who care — and it shows. No gimmicks, no fluff, just good vibes and even better scran.

Get in there before it becomes too cool to queue for.
